Crack is back, and the latest drug raid may be evidence.
Narcotics investigators rolled out the SWAT team on Wednesday to Da Hood Smoke Shop at 1255 W. 400 South. They were worried that 41-year-old Terrance Flemings was dangerous because of a past criminal history. Inside, police found 16 grams of crack.

Salt Lake police Sgt. Robin Snyder says crack is getting popular again. She said, "It used to be that it was more of heroin and cocaine that you would buy off the street, but now we're seeing more of the dealers of crack cocaine here in Salt Lake City."
She says detectives are starting to focus on it now.
As for Fleming and another woman in the store, 30-year-old Melisa Johnson, they face distribution charges. A 3-year-old was taken into protective custody.
