(KSL News) The man who left his toddler son in a car while he watched the new Batman movie pleaded guilty.
The Deseret News reports David Farnham, 23, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless endangerment, a charge reduced from misdemeanor child abuse.
On July 20, Farnham was enjoying the 11:30 p.m. showing of "The Dark Knight" inside an air-conditioned theater at Century 16 in South Salt Lake while his 2-year-old son, Justin, was all alone in a hot car.
It was almost 2 a.m. Sunday when the 2-year-old boy was finally rescued from the car. The temperature inside was 87 degrees.
Farnham will be sentenced on Jan. 20.
