Meatballs:
2 lbs ground beef
cracker crumbs
1 sm onion, chopped
salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
pepper
Sweet and Sour Sauce:
1 15oz can whole tomatoes, cut up
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cider vinegar
salt
1 sm. onion, minced
8 to 10 ginger snaps, crushed
dash of worcestershire sauce
Mix meatball ingredients together. Form into walnut sized balls on a cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 7 minutes
Combine all the sweet-sour ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat, simmer until ginger snaps are dissolved. Add meatballs and heat through.
Serve with rice or noodles or mashed potatoes.
