(KSL News) -- It was ZCMI, then Meier and Frank, and today it became Macy's.
Macy's calls today its official transition to a national retailer, with more then 800 stores.
A crowd lined up today to hear from Governor Huntsman and store managers before they shopped.
There will be eight Macy's stores in Utah employing about a thousand people.
