Hundreds celebrate winter at Fat Flake Festival

(KSL News) Hundreds of people are partying in downtown Salt Lake tonight to celebrate the return of winter weather and snow.

The 3rd annual Fat Flake Festival is a big party thrown by Ski Utah to get winter sports enthusiasts amped-up about the coming season.

Besides music, marshmallow roasting and ice skating, there were a lot of contests with prizes for kids and adults at the Gallivan Center. Several local pro athletes were on hand to sign autographs.
