(KSL News) A 16-year-old Ogden boy will spend the next 16 years of his life in prison, serving time for murder.
Diego Mora was convicted of first-degree felony murder last month in connection with the 2007 shooting death of Jesus Aparicio.
Yesterday a judge sentenced him to 15 years to life in prison for the crime and added on one year gun enhancement.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that the shooting was provoked when friends of Aparicio made disparaging remarks about the 18th Street Gang, of which Mora was a member.
