OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Weber State football coach Ron McBride has been released from a hospital after becoming ill during a game.

McBride, who coached at the University of Utah for 13 years, was released from the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho, on Sunday.

McBride, 69, began feeling lightheaded and his heart rate was high during Weber State's 59-27 win over Idaho State on Saturday. All hospital tests were negative, but he spent the night in the hospital.

McBride, who has suffered two heart attacks, says he plans to see his heart doctor in Ogden on Monday.

Earlier this month, Weber State and McBride agreed on a new contract through the 2012 season.
