OGDEN — One woman was airlifted to McKay-Dee Hospital Saturday after she was bucked off a horse in unincorporated Weber County.
The Weber Fire District said authorities received a 911 call from a man who was riding with the woman in the Middle Fork area when she was bucked off and landed on a rock. Various battalions responded along with a medical helicopter, the Weber County Sheriff's Office, the Department of Natural Resources and search and rescue teams.
The woman was located from the air and ground crews reached her; she had sustained "significant injuries to her back," they determined.

She was carried about 200 yards to the helicopter and flown to the hospital.
