SPANISH FORK — Saturday marks a somber anniversary for the family and friends of Kiplyn Davis, the 15-year-old girl who disappeared 25 years ago today from Spanish Fork High School.
Davis' family invites Utahns to honor her by lighting a candle or turning on a porch light and sharing on social media. As KSL TV's Sam Penrod reported last year on the 24th anniversary, the family has never given up hope of finding her.
“She is still a 15-year-old girl to me,” her father Richard Davis said at the time. Kiplyn would have turned 41 this July.
Foul play has long been suspected in her disappearance; one man, Timmy Brent Olsen, is still serving time in connection with the case.
