SALT LAKE CITY — At least six people broke into a Salt Lake City car dealership over Easter weekend and essentially took everything, according to police.

A total of 14 cars, including the company’s tow truck, keys, dealer license plates, titles and more were stolen from Automotive Solutions, 1321 S. Earl Drive, said Salt Lake police detective Michael Ruff. Two days later a 15th vehicle was stolen off the lot, likely by someone connected to the initial group, he said.

The incident happened sometime during the night of April 11 through the morning of April 12, Ruff said. As of Friday, five vehicles had been recovered. Ruff said the vehicles are being located throughout Salt Lake County.

Detectives have identified at least three people of interest: Shannon Leeson, 49, of Millcreek; Joseph Facello, 43, of Millcreek, and Jonathan Facello, 44, of South Jordan.

As of Friday, police were still looking for: 2017 white Kia Optima; 2012 white Volkswagen CC; 2016 Silver Hyundai Elantra; 2017 black Subaru Forrester; 2015 black Volkswagen Passat; 2011 white Ford F-350; 2014 white Audi A4; 2012 silver Subaru Legacy; 2006 silver Infiniti G35; and a 2010 white Ford Explorer.

Anyone with information on the case can call police at 801-799-3000.
