\CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May delivery rose 6 cents at $5.20 a bushel; May corn gained 6.40 cents at $3.1060 a bushel; May oats was up 2 cents at $3.12 a bushel; while May soybeans advanced 19.40 cents at 8.4760 a bushel.

Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle was up .75 cent at $.8850 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle fell .90 cent at $1.19 a pound; Apr. lean hogs rose 1.28 cents at .5798 a pound.
