SALT LAKE CITY — A Tremonton man accused of having sexual relations with a teenage girl has been arrested in Box Elder County.
Bryan Christopher Hood, 26, was booked into jail Wednesday for investigation of 10 counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a 16- or 17-year-old. The incidents happened from September through December, according to a police booking affidavit.
A 17-year-old girl recently contacted the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office and “disclosed having a sexual relationship with a 26-year-old male, Bryan Hood,” the affidavit states.
The girl told police she decided to come forward after learning a 16-year-old friend was sexually assaulted by Hood, according to the affidavit, which said that case is under investigation.
“Bryan Hood engaged in sexual activity with a 17-year-old female. After that relationship he engaged in sexual activity with a 16-year-old female. It is unknown if there are other victims in this case. Having someone willing to engage in sexual relationships with young girls causes concern that he may be in, or seek more illegal relationships,” police wrote in the affidavit.
