CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Cole Anthony scored 19 of his 28 points in the second half to help North Carolina beat Wake Forest 93-83. Garrison Brooks added 25 points for the Tar Heels (13-17, 6-13 Atlantic Coast Conference), who won their third straight game after a seven-game losing streak. Brandon Robinson had 18 points and made five 3-pointers for North Carolina. The Tar Heels shot 51% from the field, including 64% in the second half, and made 10 of 17 3-point attempts in the game. Brandon Childress scored 24 points and Isaiah Mucius had 13 to lead Wake Forest (13-16, 6-13).
UNDATED (AP) — Fourth-ranked Louisville is the unquestioned headliner at the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. The Cardinals won the regular-season race outright for the first time since joining the league before the 2014-15 season. They had shared the regular-season crown with Notre Dame the past two years. This year's Louisville team finished two games ahead of No. 10 North Carolina State as it pursues a second ACC Tournament title. The tournament opens Wednesday in Greensboro, North Carolina. Louisville, N.C. State, Duke and No. 22 Florida State have byes into Friday's quarterfinals. The championship game is set for Sunday.
UNDATED (AP) — College basketball has reached the final week of the regular season in all the major conferences. A lot is still left to be decided. While No. 6 Kentucky has wrapped up the SEC title and No. 8 Seton Hall has earned a share of the Big East, the ACC, Big 12, Big Ten and Pac-12 all will come down to the wire. The Big Ten has a logjam at the top. Six teams are within two games of one another.
