TREMONTON — Police say a 17-year-old girl who was previously missing from Box Elder County was found safe in Kansas on Thursday.

Aliyah Lyn Cutler was previously reported missing Thursday from Tremonton and was considered endangered, according to a news release from the Utah Department of Public Safety. She was found safe in Kansas early Thursday evening, Tremonton police announced Friday.

She was believed to be with Mose Tim Murphy, 36. Police earlier said is was possible the pair may have been heading to Murphy’s mother’s house in Oklahoma, authorities said.

Information about Murphy was not available Friday.
