MIDVALE — Students are being dismissed from three Midvale schools due to a water line break in the area, officials said.

Classes have been canceled for Midvale Middle School, as well as Midvale and Copperview elementary schools, according to a tweet from Canyons School District.

The schools do not have access to drinking water or restrooms due to the water break, the district said. Bottled water and portable restrooms are being sent to the schools as an emergency measure.

Middle school students will be allowed to walk or ride the bus home, the district said. Elementary school students will need to be checked out by a parent, guardian, approved adult or secondary school-aged sibling.
