WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (AP) — Purdue got 16 points from Trevion Williams and relied on a staunch defense to pull off a 71-42 upset over No. 8 Michigan State. The victory ends the Boilermakers' two-game losing streak. It's also Purdue's second victory over a Top 10 foe this season and its 15th consecutive home win over a Big Ten opponent. Cassius Winston led the Spartans with 10 points but also had nine turnovers. The Spartans' eight-game winning streak came to an end. Michigan State finished with a season-low point total and lost for the first time since Dec. 3.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Daniel Oturu scored a career-high 30 points and Minnesota went on a late 11-0 run to beat No. 19 Michigan 75-67. Marcus Carr had 21 points and 12 assists for Minnesota, while Alihan Demir scored 13 points. Zavier Simpson had 19 points and nine assists for Michigan. Franz Wagner scored 17 points. The Gophers pulled away late after a back-and-forth second half. Oturu scored in the low post with 3 minutes left to put Minnesota ahead for good.

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) — Kathleen Doyle had 31 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists, Makenzie Meyer scored seven of her 17 points in the final three minutes, and Iowa beat No. 12 Indiana 91-85 in double overtime. The Hawkeyes extended their home win streak to 30 games. Jaelynn Penn had 24 points for he Hoosiers, who have lost 20 consecutive road games against Iowa, dating to Feb. 20, 1994. Meyer hit a 3-pointer and then made a layup to give the Hawkeyes a five-point lead - their biggest of the game to that point - with 1:56 left in the second OT.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Blair Watson hit six 3-pointers and scored 20 points and No. 17 Maryland used a strong start do defeat No. 24 Michigan for the second time in 15 days, rolling to an 77-49 win. Ashley Owusu added 18 points and Diamond Miller had 15 for the Terrapins, who beat the visiting Wolverines 70-55 on Dec. 28. The freshmen reserves helped the Maryland bench outscore Michigan's bench 35-11. Maryland turned 14 first-half Michigan turnovers into 10 points and led 37-21. Naz Hillmon paced Michigan with 15 points and Kayla Robbins had 11.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota suspended leading scorer Destiny Pitts before the Gophers' Big Ten game at Illinois on Sunday. The Gophers said Pitts was suspended for “conduct unbecoming a member of the team.” Minnesota also said Taiye Bello and Kehinde Bello would not play against the Illini. Pitts led Minnesota with 16.3 points per game. Taiye Bello was Minnesota's leading rebounder at 9.9 per game. Both played in all 15 games until Sunday, with Kehinde Bello coming off the bench in 14 games. Illinois beat Minnesota 74-71 Sunday, handing the Gophers their fourth consecutive Big Ten loss.
