RIVERDALE — Three crashes on I-15 caused major delays on both sides of the freeway in Weber County on Thursday afternoon. The crashes were cleared by 5 p.m.
The crashes occurred near the I-84 interchange in Riverdale, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. No one involved in the crashes suffered any life-threatening injuries, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Street.
All the crashes happened on the northbound side, but both directions of traffic were affected, according to Street.
Here's a look from KSL Chopper 5 of the rollover crash on the Northbound side of I-15 at Riverdale Road in Weber County. When traffic is allowed to go through it is only the far right lane. Expect heavy delays back to Clearfield by Hill Air Force Base. @kslnewsradiopic.twitter.com/DwT2ALrVUn

Five vehicles, including a box truck, were involved in the first crash, Street said. One person in that crash was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The second crash involved a black pickup truck and silver car, Street said. There were no serious injuries in that crash. The third crash involved a single Toyota Camry that drove off the side of the road. Street did not say if anyone was injured in that crash.
On the southbound side of I-15, two left lanes were closed for a few hours, according to UDOT.
