ADORBSVILLE — There is just something about the love between a pooch and a child that is next level adorable. I'm not sure if it's the unconditional love of the child toward the dog, or the canine's inherent sense of protection toward the kid, but all around it's pretty much the best.
And that is why my heart exploded a couple of hours ago from adorable overload when I saw this video.
It's really simple: A toddler waddles out the backdoor doing whatever it is toddlers do. He's probably thinking about that cheese sandwich he didn't finish earlier or possibly planning what he's going to do in 12 seconds, before he gets sidetracked and forgets 7 seconds later.
Regardless, this little guy heads out the door and abandons any plans he had to give his buddy a hug. He strides right up to his pup and wraps his arms around him.
When he breaks, he decides one isn't enough and goes right back in. Then he gives the dog some "good boy" pats, and then another embrace.

A lot of parents struggle with getting their children to eat healthy foods. But you they ever tried making the food more fun?The dog isn't really phased, but I love the moment the pooch turns to the camera. Almost as if it's making sure whoever it is behind him isn't going to disturb his tiny human or this incredible moment.
Once the child concludes the dog knows he loves him, he makes his way back inside for the rest of that cheese sandwich.
The innocence in the video is palpable, and there is so much said without one word. I love this video and I think you will too.
