DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Tre Jones had 15 points and eight assists, and No. 4 Duke routed Colorado State 89-55. Alex O'Connell had 14 points while three freshmen also reached double figures. Cassius Stanley led the way with 19 points, Vernon Carey had 11 before fouling out and Wendell Moore Jr. finished with 10 for the Blue Devils. They shot 54% and hit 70% of their attempts inside the arc.

WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Freshman star Cole Anthony had 20 points and 10 rebounds to help ninth-ranked North Carolina beat UNC Wilmington 78-62. Graduate transfer Justin Pierce had 18 points and 12 rebounds to offset a bad shooting night for Anthony, who had 34 points in his college debut against Notre Dame on Wednesday to set an Atlantic Coast Conference record for most points by a freshman in their college debut. It was UNC's first visit to UNC Wilmington.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) — Chris Lykes scored 15 points to lead Miami to a 74-60 victory over Florida Atlantic. The Hurricanes (1-1) withstood a challenge from Florida Atlantic and secured the win with a 12-0 run late in the second half. Consecutive 3-pointers from Harlond Beverly and Dejan Vasiljevic capped the run for a 67-50 lead with 5:08 remaining.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Jazmine Jones scored 14 points to lead No. 9 Louisville to a 76-40 victory over Murray State. Kylee Shook added 13 points and 12 rebounds, Dana Evans finished with 12 points, Elizabeth Balogun had 11 points and nine of the Cardinals' 12 players scored.

UNDATED (AP) — Emotions will be running high when Virginia Tech plays host to No. 22 Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons will be trying to keep their momentum going before an Atlantic Division showdown with No. 4 Clemson next weekend. The Hokies will try to stay in the Coastal Division title chase and will honor retiring defensive coordinator Bud Foster before Saturday's game.

BOSTON (AP) — Florida State tries to salvage its season and remain on track for a bowl game when it plays Boston College on Saturday. The Seminoles fired coach Willie Taggart last weekend after a loss to Miami. Longtime assistant Odell Haggins is serving as interim coach. BC needs one more win to qualify for a bowl game, and the reeling Seminoles might be its best chance.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) — Virginia could hardly be in a better position as it drives for its first ACC Coastal Division football title with three home games left in the regular season. The Cavaliers control their destiny and will continue that title quest against struggling Georgia Tech.

UNDATED (AP) — All eyes are on LSU-Alabama this week. It's the first matchup of Nos. 1 and 2 teams in The Associated Press Top 25 since the Tigers and Crimson Tide met in 2011. The loser still has a path to the playoff if it wins out and a one-loss Georgia falls in the Southeastern Conference championship game. The other big game Saturday is in Minneapolis, where fifth-ranked Penn State plays No. 13 Minnesota in another battle of unbeatens. No. 18 Iowa visits No. 16 Wisconsin in a key Big Ten West game.
