LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Devon Dotson had 22 points and six assists, Udoka Azubuike added 10 points and 10 rebounds and No. 3 Kansas beat UNC Greensboro 74-62. After leading by four points at the half, the Jayhawks (1-1) shot 41.7% from beyond the arc in the second half to pull away.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Isaiah Stewart made a go-ahead layup with 30 seconds left, Nahziah Carter scored 23 points and Washington beat No. 16 Baylor 67-64. Carter hit a tying 3-pointer with 1:38 left, and after Baylor missed a pair of 3-point tries, Stewart made his layup. Baylor failed to make a field goal over the final five minutes. MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Derek Culver and Jermaine Haley scored 16 points apiece to lead West Virginia over Akron 94-84. Emmitt Matthews Jr. added 13 points and Miles McBride scored 11 points for the Mountaineers. Xeyrius Williams scored a career-high 20 points for the Zips.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma fully recognizes Iowa State's transition from Big 12 doormat into a capable adversary. Perhaps the first sign that something was brewing came when the Cyclones upset the Sooners 38-31 in Norman in 2017. Iowa State heads to Oklahoma again, not nearly the underdog it was two years ago.

UNDATED (AP) — All eyes are on LSU-Alabama this week. It's the first matchup of Nos. 1 and 2 teams in The Associated Press Top 25 since the Tigers and Crimson Tide met in 2011. The loser still has a path to the playoff if it wins out and a one-loss Georgia falls in the Southeastern Conference championship game. The other big game Saturday is in Minneapolis, where fifth-ranked Penn State plays No. 13 Minnesota in another battle of unbeatens. No. 18 Iowa visits No. 16 Wisconsin in a key Big Ten West game.

WACO, Texas (AP) — NaLyssa Smith and Lauren Cox both had double-doubles again for No. 2 Baylor and the defending national champion Lady Bears beat Grambling State 120-46. Baylor had eight players score in double figures. Smith had 21 points and 13 rebounds. Cox had 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Bears have won their first two games by a combined 140 points.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Enna Pehadzic scored 16 points with three 3-pointers and South Florida upset the No. 15 Texas women 64-57, spoiling the Longhorns' season opener. Bethy Mununga added a career-high 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Bulls (2-0).
