CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (AP) — DaQuan Bracey had 14 points as Louisiana Tech beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 82-49 in a season opener on Wednesday night.
Kalob Ledoux had 13 points for Louisiana Tech. JaColby Pemberton added 11 points. Derric Jean had 10 points for the visitors.
Jashawn Talton had 14 points for the Islanders.
Louisiana Tech plays Wiley at home on Tuesday. Texas A&M-Corpus Christi plays Vanderbilt on the road on Monday.
