The Seminoles continued their improbable postseason surge with a 5-4 win over LSU in 12 innings to complete a two-game super regional sweep. Michigan returning to CWS for first time since 1984. Vanderbilt, Texas Tech and Mississippi State also win super regionals to advance. Louisville earned a CWS spot Saturday.
LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Texas Tech is going to the College World Series for the fourth time in six seasons after beating Big 12 foe Oklahoma State 8-6 in an NCAA Super Regional finale. Kurt Wilson hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning for the Red Raiders. Josh Jung led off the Red Raiders eighth with his second homer of the game.
