NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Kumar Rocker pitched the eighth no-hitter in NCAA Tournament history striking out a career-high 19 as Vanderbilt beat Duke 3-0 to force the Nashville Super Regional to a deciding third game. Rocker tied his previous career best through five innings with 10 strikeouts and retired 13 of 15 Duke batters. Rocker struck out the side in the ninth to finish off the first no-hitter in the NCAA Tournament since Florida's Jonathon Crawford shut out Bethune-Cookeman on June 1, 2012.

UNDATED (AP) — Louisville became the first team to clinch a spot in the College World Series, but it was Vanderbilt's Kumar Rocker who provided the biggest highlight on the second day of the NCAA super regionals. The freshman pitched the first no-hitter in the super-regional era that started in 1999, and the No. 2 national seed Commodores kept their season alive with a 3-0 win over Duke. Louisville completed a sweep of East Carolina with a 12-0 win.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Ethan Small struck out eight over six innings, Dustin Skelton hit two doubles and Mississippi State beat Stanford 6-2 in the first game of the NCAA Tournament's best-of-three super regionals. Mississippi State slowly broke the game open with one run in the second, two in the third and three more in the fourth to take a 6-1 lead.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi State pitcher Jack Eagan was taken to the hospital after receiving medical attention in the dugout during the team's game against Stanford in the NCAA Tournament's super regionals. The school said Eagan, a junior who did not play in the game, suffered a "non-athletic medical event."

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Reese Albert hit a three-run homer in the seventh and added a solo shot in the ninth to help Florida State open the NCAA's Baton Rouge super regional with a 6-4 victory over LSU. Seminoles starting center fielder J.C. Flowers went to the mound in the eighth and recorded six outs for his 12th save this season. Florida State coach Mike Martin is now one victory away from his 17th College World Series trip since taking over the program 40 seasons ago.

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — Rankin Woley had a 3-run double in the eighth inning, Edouard Julien a 3-run homer in the ninth and Auburn scored nine runs in the last two innings to rally for an 11-7 win over North Carolina in the first game of the Chapel Hill super regional. Tar Heels' starter Tyler Baum left with one out in the seven inning having allowed just four hits and a 4-2 lead.

FAYETTVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Matt Goodheart and Jack Kenley homered and drove in three runs each and Isaiah Campbell was dominant on the mound as Arkansas dominated Mississippi 11-2 in the first game of the Fayetteville super regional. Kenley hit a 3-run homer in the first inning and Goodheart had a 2-run blast in the fourth, which gave the Razorbacks (45-17) a 9-0 lead.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Kyle Gallagher hit a three-run home run and had four RBIs as the Duke Blue Devils routed Vanderbilt 18-5 to take the opener of the Nashville Super Regional. The Blue Devils also snapped a 12-game winning streak by Vanderbilt, the nation's No. 2 overall seed, to move a win from its first College World Series berth since 1961. The Commodores have lost five super regionals when dropping the opener. They had never allowed this many runs in this round.
