BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police are investigating a crash near Tetonia that left two people dead and two others hospitalized.

Police say 45-year-old Madalene Quissek of Tetonia and a minor in her vehicle died at the scene of the Friday crash on State Highway 33.

According to police, Quissek was heading east in a 2007 Toyota RAV and 43-year-old Myrna Izaguirre of Burien, Washington, was heading west in a 2015 Toyota RAV when the two vehicles collided head-on.

Izaguirre and a second minor in Quissek's vehicle were taken to a hospital by ambulance.

Police say all occupants in the vehicles were wearing seatbelts.
