OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Giselle "G" Juarez struck out 11 and gave up one run in six innings to help Oklahoma beat Oklahoma State 6-1 in the Women's College World Series. It was the first time the in-state rivals played in the World Series, and the matchup helped draw a single-session record crowd of 9,820. Oklahoma, which is seeking its third national title in four years, advanced to the semifinals and needs one win to reach the championship series.

IRVING, Texas (AP) — Big 12 revenues are up again and expected to surpass $40 million per school annually before the current media rights deal runs out in about five years. Commissioner Bob Bowlsby says each university was receiving $38.8 million for 2018-19. That's a total of $388 million in the 10-team conference. The 6% jump is the 13th consecutive year of increasing revenues for the Big 12.

UNDATED (AP) — A Cincinnati team that entered the NCAA Tournament with barely a winning record pulled the biggest upset on the first day of games. The Bearcats knocked off defending national champion Oregon State 7-6 on the Beavers' home field. The Bearcats made the tournament by winning the American Athletic Conference Tournament and were just 30-29. They were the only No. 4 regional seed to win on the first day of the tournament. No. 3 regional seeds opened the tournament 12-3.

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Jackson Glenn and Andres Sosa homered among three hits each and drove in two runs apiece as Dallas Baptist held on to beat Florida 11-8 in an NCAA regional opener. Glenn hit a two-run homer in the first before Cory Acton tied it with a two-run shot in the second. Sosa hit a solo shot in the seventh for an 8-5 lead after the Gators had pulled within two. Dallas Baptist will face host Texas Tech in the winner's bracket. Florida takes on Army in an elimination game.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Tyler Doanes and Ivan Gonzalez each drove in two runs to lead West Virginia to a 6-2 victory over Fordham on Friday night in the Morgantown regional of the NCAA Tournament. Top-seeded West Virginia advanced to meet third-seeded Duke on Saturday. Fourth-seeded Fordham will face number two Texas A&M in an elimination game. West Virginia's Nick Snyder struck out six and walked three in five innings. Kade Strowd threw four innings of hitless relief.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Hunter Wolfe hit a two-run double and Johnny Rizer homered to score two more in a six-run sixth inning, helping TCU pull away to a 13-2 victory over California in an NCAA regional opener. Brandon Williamson struck out seven in the first four innings, and Charles King pitched three hitless innings before allowing a run in the eighth. The third-seeded Horned Frogs will face host Arkansas in the winner's bracket. Cal will play Central Connecticut State in an elimination game.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Jensen Elliott and Peyton Battenfield combined on a four-hitter to lead Oklahoma State to a 2-0 win over Harvard in the NCAA Oklahoma City regional. Elliott limited the Crimson to three hits in seven innings and Battenfield allowed one hit and struck out four in two innings in the Cowboys' seventh shutout of the season. OSU plays former Big 12 rival Nebraska in a winner's bracket game Saturday. Harvard faces UConn in an elimination game.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Tommy Delgado had three hits, Codie Paiva allowed one run in 7 2/3 innings and Loyola Marymount won its first NCAA Baseball Tournament game in 19 years, defeating Baylor 3-1 in the opening game of the Los Angeles Regional Friday. Trevin Esquerra provided the go-ahead hit in the sixth inning when his double to right field was misplayed and allowed Brandon Shearer to score.
