FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Miranda Wang wins the 20th hole of the final match on the course to give Duke a 3-2 victory over Wake Forest for its seventh NCAA title in women's golf. The longest day at rain-soaked Blessings Golf Club concluded with three of the five matches going extra holes.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Angel Zarate scored the winning run on a hit batsman with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th inning, lifting North Carolina past Virginia 3-2 in the ACC tournament. Aaron Sabato drew a one-out walk and reached second on a wild pitch before Zarate pinch-ran for him. An intentional walk to Danny Serretti and a walk to Ike Freeman loaded the bases before reliever Devin Ortiz struck pinch-hitter Caleb Roberts with an 0-1 pitch to score Zarate with the game winner.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Jackson Webb hit a two-run double and scored twice, Amos Willingham allowed six hits in six innings and Georgia Tech eliminated Notre Dame with a 12-6 win at the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament. The Yellow Jackets scored in all but the first, second and fifth innings while getting 13 hits. Five Notre Dame errors also helped, including a muffed two-out pop-up in the seventh that fell between three players near home plate and led to two unearned runs.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Notre Dame basketball coach Mike Brey says the NCAA is granting too many waivers that allow players who transfer to compete immediately. He calls the requirement that players sit out a year a useful "deterrent" to players switching schools. Brey made his comments at a meeting of the Knight Commission, a nonprofit that pushes for reform in college sports. He says the ease of getting a waiver is making players more eager to transfer.
