SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Utah Highway Patrol says a trooper and a wrong-way driver both suffered minor injuries early Friday when the trooper stopped the wrong-way vehicle on southbound Interstate 15 in in Davis County.
The Highway Patrol said the trooper used a maneuver to disable and stop the wrong-way vehicle and the driver then was arrested on suspicion of DUI and as an alcohol-restricted driver.
Both the trooper and the wrong-way driver were taken to a hospital for treatment of their injuries.
