NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Lamar Peters scored 15 points, and Mississippi State routed Texas A&M 80-54 in the second round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament. The Bulldogs now have won seven of their last nine with their second win over Texas A&M in six days. Mississippi State beat the Aggies by 92-81 to wrap up the regular season, and their first game ever in this tournament was never that close as the Bulldogs never trailed. Mississippi State now will play No. 8 Tennessee in the quarterfinals.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — John Petty stuffed in a putback with a minute left to put Alabama ahead for good as the 10th-seeded Crimson Tide rallied and kept their postseason hopes alive with a 62-57 Southeastern Conference Tournament victory over Mississippi.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Bryce Brown scored all 17 of his points in the second half, and No. 22 Auburn beat Missouri 81-71 in the second round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament. Auburn won its fifth straight to advance to the quarterfinals against South Carolina, and the Tigers also snapped a three-game skid at the SEC Tournament dating back to 2015 when they reached the semifinals. No. 12 seed Missouri at least kept this game closer than the last game between these teams, a 34-point loss in Auburn.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Keyontae Johnson scored a career-high 20 points and pulled down 12 rebounds Thursday as No. 8 seed Florida snapped a three-game skid and defeated Arkansas 66-50 in the Southeastern Conference Tournament. The Gators (18-14) advance to a Friday quarterfinal against No. 9 LSU. LSU is the top seed in this tournament.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — LSU says Will Wade won't resume his duties as men's basketball coach unless he speaks to university officials about the reports of an FBI wire-tap that resulted in his suspension. A statement from the school's counsel was released Thursday amid reports that Wade had wants to resume his duties as the ninth-ranked Tigers prepare for the postseason. Wade told Sports Illustrated he was put on leave because he didn't submit to an interview with LSU and NCAA officials.
