SALT LAKE CITY — The body of a man was pulled from Willard Bay on Wednesday morning, officials said.

On Tuesday, Utah State Park rangers, along with crews from Willard City Fire and Box Elder County, responded to Willard Bay State Park to a report of a man who had possibly drowned, Utah State Parks spokesman Eugene Swalberg said in a statement.

Shortly before 11 a.m., crews located and recovered the man’s body from the bay, Swalberg said.

The man was later identified as 34-year-old Todd Brandon Isakson, of Ogden, according to Swalberg.

Members of the Utah State Parks ROV Team deployed a submersible remotely-operated vehicle to help search for the body on Tuesday, but the search was suspended that night and continued into Wednesday.

The incident is under investigation.
