MANTI — A Lehi man was booked into the Sanpete County Jail Saturday night for allegedly killing his girlfriend's dog.

Spencer Whitaker Tuttle, 39, was arrested for investigation of aggravated cruelty to animals.

According to a Sanpete County Jail report, a sheriff's deputy was dispatched to a possible vandalism. When the deputy arrived and found Tuttle, he "stated he had gotten mad and kicked his girlfriend’s dog which killed the dog. Tuttle called his girlfriend telling her something happened, he kicked the dog and the dog was not moving."

Additional information was not immediately available.
