TAYLORSVILLE — One person was critically injured in a car crash in Taylorsville late Wednesday, police said.
Officers responded to the intersection of 5400 South and 1300 West at 11:57 p.m., according to Unified Police Lt. Paul Barker.
They found two cars had collided, and initially had no details on what led to the crash.
The driver of one car received head injuries and was transported to Intermountain Medical Center in critical condition, but is expected to recover, Barker said.
The driver and a passenger in the other car also were taken to Intermountain in stable condition.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash, but there is the possibility drugs or alcohol were factors, Barker said.
