LAS VEGAS (AP) — Arizona State and No. 19 Fresno State each find themselves on the ascent heading into their Las Vegas Bowl matchup on Saturday. The Bulldogs are aiming to get a school-record 12th win. Arizona State is trying to use its trip to Vegas as a launching pad to similar success.
UNDATED (AP) — Fresno State can set a school record for wins in a season by knocking off its second Pac-12 opponent in 2018 when it faces Arizona State in the Las Vegas Bowl. Arizona State will try to cap off coach Herm Edwards' first season with a bowl victory, which would mark the first time the Sun Devils have defeated Southern California, UCLA and rival Arizona and won their bowl game all in the same season.
