NEW YORK (AP) — Heisman Trophy finalists Tua Tagovailoa of Alabama, Kyler Murray of Oklahoma and Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State were on Wall Street to ring the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange on a day the Dow closed down 558 points. Stock for the three first-year starters has been soaring this season. A year ago they were second on their team's depth chart. On Saturday, one of them will win the Heisman Trophy as the top player in college football.
ATLANTA (AP) — AP player of the year Kyler Murray adds the Davey O'Brien Award as the nation's top quarterback as the College Football Awards show in Atlanta began. But right before the show started it was announced that Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa won the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award.
