OXFORD, Ohio (AP) — Bam Bowman and Dalonte Brown each scored 18 points and grabbed a combined 17 rebounds as Miami of Ohio walloped Army, 85-55 in a nonconference game on Saturday.

Bowman put the Redhawks in front for good with a layup four minutes in and it turned into a double-digit advantage four minutes after that. Miami held an 18-point lead going into the final minute of the first half, but Alex King and Tommy Funk each scored at the basket to cut it to 40-26 at intermission.

Miami held a decisive edge on the boards, outrebounding the Black Knights 49-33.

The Redhawks (2-3) hit 32 of 65 shots from the field (49.2 percent), including 10 of 29 from distance. Nike Sibande scored 17 points, hitting 4 of 9 shots from deep.

Jordan Fox scored 15 points for Army (2-4), with Matt Wilson adding another 10.

The game was the Redhawks' annual Give Back Game, where fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to the Oxford Choice Food Pantry.
