Tulsa rallies to beat Little Rock 88-78 behind Igbanu

BIMINI, Bahamas (AP) — Martins Igbanu scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, DaQuan Jeffries had 15 points and Tulsa rallied to beat Little Rock 88-78 on Monday night at the Bimini Jam.

Sterling Taplin added 10 points with eight assists and Jeriah Horne scored 10 for the Golden Hurricane (4-0), which made 27 of 39 free throws.

Trailing by five at halftime, Tulsa scored 10 straight and led 45-44 on Chris Barnes' layup, then led 62-58 on Igbanu's free throws. Tulsa began to pull away as Little Rock battled foul trouble. Igbanu's layup pushed it to 80-67.

Rayjon Tucker's 3 capped Little Rock's opening 14-3 run and they led 36-31. He scored 21 first-half points and Little Rock led 42-37 at halftime.

Tucker scored a career-high 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the first double-double of the season for Little Rock (2-2). Deondre Burns had 14 points and Nikola Maric 12 before fouling out.
