NEW YORK (AP) — Ty Perry and Nick Honor combined to score 40 points as Fordham romped past Division III CCNY 106-54 in a season opener on Tuesday night.

Fordham led by 20 at the half, 45-25, and kept pulling away in the second, making 23 of 38 from the floor for 60.5 percent. Fordham shot 41 of 79 (52 percent) for the game. The Rams also forced 24 turnovers, turning those into 33 points.

Perry led with 22 points in 15 minutes of playing time, hitting 8 of 13 from the field, including six 3-pointers. Honor added 18 points with three steals and four assists. Onyi Eyisi added 10 points, six rebounds and four blocked shots.

Ty-Ler Banks led CCNY with a game-high 30 points on 13-of-15 shooting. He was the only Beavers player in double digits.
