PORTERVILLE, Morgan County — A small earthquake rattled parts of Morgan County Tuesday night.

The 2.8 magnitude quake hit eight miles south of Porterville, which is south of Morgan, at 10:30 p.m., according to a tweet from the University of Utah Seismograph Stations.

No damage or injuries were initially reported.

Some viewers told KSL they felt the tremor as far west as Bountiful and Farmington.
