WEST VALLEY CITY — Two teens were arrested and at least two more people remained at large after police said they robbed two people living in a camp trailer early Friday morning.
Police responded to a report of a robbery at a camp trailer behind a home located at 4147 W. Dennis Drive shortly after 1 a.m., West Valley City Police Sgt. Scott Arnold said.
“They received a knock at the door and when they answered, there were approximately four or five suspects armed with handguns that robbed the individuals,” he said.
The people living in the trailer were also assaulted during the robbery and suffered minor injuries, Arnold added.
Detectives interviewed the people robbed, which led them to arrest one of the teens. Arnold said the teen admitted to the robbery and was booked into a juvenile facility. A second teen was also arrested and booked into the facility. Their names were not released because they are minors.
“The investigation is still ongoing into who the other involved parties were,” Arnold said.
A description of the other individuals was not provided.
