SANDY — A man was seriously injured when his car rolled down a steep embankment in Little Cottonwood Canyon around 10 p.m. Sunday night.
The 52-year-old man lost control of his car while driving down the canyon, according to a tweet from the Unified Police Department.
The car then hit a rock and rolled down an embankment just west of Snowbird, the tweet read.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital by medical helicopter in serious condition.
Officials did not say if there were any passengers in the vehicle.
