OGDEN — Police arrested a man after one person was stabbed multiple times in an altercation in Ogden early Sunday morning.
The fight took place about 4:11 a.m. Sunday near the 3200 block of Lincoln Avenue, Ogden police officials said on Twitter. During the fight, one person was stabbed multiple times with an unknown object, officials said.
After the stabbing, police say the man held three other people at knife-point and threatened them. Those three people escaped, at which point the man fled, according to police.
Later on Sunday, police found Diego Castro, 27, at his home near 3800 Ogden Ave., and arrested him in connection with the stabbing, Ogden police officials said on Facebook. He was booked into Weber County Jail for investigation of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault and obstruction of justice.
The person who was stabbed was taken to a nearby hospital and was in stable condition as of Sunday morning, officials said. Police were investigating the incident through Sunday morning.
Officials did not provide any other information about the stabbing or the people involved.
