OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Weber County authorities say a Salt Lake City man is accused of burglary and other crimes after a woman found him sleeping in a recliner the living room in her cabin.

The Standard-Examiner reports that Thomas Luke Shupe was arrested April 24 after he ran away from the cabin when the woman woke him up and asked him for identification.

The woman told police that there was an empty wine bottle and that several cans of beer were missing.

According to police, officers arrested Shupe nearby and then determined there'd been a break-in at another cabin.

Shupe is jailed on suspicion of multiple crimes as well as four warrants from Salt Lake County.

It's not clear whether he has an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
