DRAPER, Utah (AP) — Authorities say a worker died after a tunnel he was installing at a Geneva Rock operation in Draper fell on him.
The Deseret News reports Draper police say Lee MacKay died of his injuries Wednesday afternoon.
Draper Police Sgt. Chad Carpenter says the 57-year-old man was trying to free the heavy chute that had become stuck when it struck him in the head.
Draper detectives and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident.
