BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — CJ Massinburg and Nick Perkins scored 19 points each and Buffalo ended the regular season with a 100-70 defeat of Bowling Green and clinched the outright Mid-American Conference regular-season championship Friday night.

Buffalo (23-8, 15-3) led from the get-go and by as many as 33 points. The Bulls scored 19 points on fast breaks, 20 points off of 12 Bowling Green turnovers and shot 57 percent from the field (38 of 67) while holding Bowling Green to 37-percent shooting (21 of 59).

The Bulls had enough mojo that Jeremy Harris fired a three-quarter court alley oop for a streaking Massinburg but the intended pass dropped in and gave Harris a 3-pointer.

Harris finished with 17 points and Jayvon Graves 12.

Justin Turner scored 21 to lead Bowling Green (16-15, 7-11), Demajeo Wiggins added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

Buffalo is just the fourth team with 15 or more wins to win the MAC — joining Miami (Ohio) with 15 from the 1998-99 season and Kent State (17) in 2001-02 and (15) in 2005-06.
