Grady scores 28, Davidson shoots 69 percent in 76-52 win

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) — Kellan Grady scored 28 points and Davidson shot 69 percent in beating Fordham 76-52 on Wednesday night.

Davidson (16-10, 11-4) is tied with St. Bonaventure for second place in the Atlantic 10, three games back of No. 18 Rhode Island with three games left. After playing at Duquesne on Saturday, the Wildcats will finish the regular season at St. Bonaventure and home against Rhode Island.

Peyton Aldridge added 16 points and 12 rebounds and became the fifth player in Davidson history to reach 2,000 points. The Wildcats made 31 of 45 shots and doubled Fordham on the boards 36-18.

Joseph Chartouny led the Rams (9-18, 4-11) with 19 points.

Aldridge scored 19 seconds into the game and Davidson led the rest of way. Aldridge had 12 points and Grady 11 in the first half that ended with the Wildcats ahead 39-25. The lead remained in double figures and reached 33 points with 5:58 remaining.
