NEW YORK (AP) — Rich Williams scored 21 points with eight rebounds and four assists and Manhattan beat Niagara 82-72 on Sunday.

Zane Waterman scored 16 points with nine rebounds and Pauly Paulicap and Zavier Turner each scored 13 while Paulicap grabbed nine rebounds.

Calvin Crawford's 3-pointer put Manhattan up 31-29 and Turner followed with back-to-back 3s during an 11-2 run and the Jaspers never trailed again. Manhattan (13-15, 8-8 Metro Atlantic Athletic) led 43-33 at the break.

Niagara (18-11, 11-5) got within 51-46 on a 3-point play from Greg King with 13:49 left but never got closer. Kahlil Dukes' 3 preceded James Town's layup to cut it to 67-61 with 6:42 left, but Williams' jump shot and Thomas Capuano's 3 sandwiched between a Towns layup made it 72-63.

Dukes led the Purple Eagles with 20 points, Marvin Prochet scored 17, Keleaf Tate and Towns each scored 10 and King grabbed 10 rebounds.
