RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Sheriff Drammeh scored a career-high 23 points and Jack Purchase hit the go-ahead jumper to lift Hawaii to a 74-69 win in overtime Saturday night.

Tied at 69-all with 34 seconds remaining, Hawaii's Drew Buggs got the ball to Purchase, who hit the go-ahead score and then hauled in a rebound at the other end, drew a foul and went 1 for 2 from the line to stretch the advantage to three. Drammeh sealed it with a pair of free throws with four seconds to go after being fouled following a UC Riverside turnover.

Drammeh, who forced overtime with a layup at the end of regulation to tie the game at 58, finished with five 3-pointers, missing just one attempt from behind the arc, and shot 8 for 10 overall. Purchase added 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, Brocke Stepteau and Drew Buggs had 11 points each for the Rainbow Warriors (15-10, 6-6 Big West Conference), who were 14 for 28 from long range.

UC Riverside (7-19, 2-10) got 21 points, seven assists and seven steals from Chance Murray. Dikymbe Martin added 18 points, including four 3-pointers for the Highlanders.
