Wright-Foreman leads Hofstra past Drexel 88-76

HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) — Justin Wright-Foreman scored 22 of his 32 points in the second half, Eli Pemberton and Rokas Gustys had double-doubles and Hofstra pulled away in the second half to beat Drexel 88-76 on Saturday.

Wright-Foreman buried four 3-pointers and added six assists and five rebounds for the Pride (17-11, 10-6 Colonial Athletic Association). Gustys posted his third straight double-double and 13th of the season with 10 points and 17 rebounds, while Pemberton had 16 points and 10 boards for his first this season.

Drexel (11-18, 5-11) , which has lost four straight, led 34-32 at halftime, but Desure Buie scored five in an 8-0 run to begin the second half as Hofstra moved in front 40-34 and never relinquished the lead. Wright-Foreman's 3-pointer pushed the lead to double digits 4½ minutes after intermission. Tramaine Isabell hit a jumper to cut Drexel's deficit to 69-66 with five minutes left, but Wright-Foreman scored nine over the next 2½ minutes to put the game out of reach.

Isabell topped the Pride with 29 points.
