DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Brandon Tabb scored 25 points with four steals, Isaiah Bailey added 22 points and eight assists and Bethune-Cookman beat North Carolina Central 99-81 on Monday night.
The Wildcats (14-12, 8-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) scored 12 straight to jump to a 39-17 lead and led by as many as 24 on their way to a 55-31 halftime advantage. Bethune-Cookman led by no less than 18 in the second half and had its largest lead at 89-60 shortly after the seven-minute mark.
Shawntrez Davis added 18 points and Soufiyane Diakite scored 16 for the Wildcats, each with seven rebounds.
Raasean Davis had a career-high 26 points to go with 11 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season for the Eagles (12-13, 6-5). Pablo Rivas added 21 points and 10 boards for his fifth double-double of the season and Jordan Perkins tied his career highs with 17 points and 10 assists.
