RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) — Nick Mayo scored 18 points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked four shots and Eastern Kentucky made 4 of 6 foul shots down the stretch to hold off Morehead State 75-73 on Saturday night.

JacQuess Hobbs' jump shot with four seconds to go put Eastern Kentucky (9-18, 3-11 Ohio Valley Conference) ahead 74-72. He promptly fouled A.J. Hicks to send him to the foul line but he made just 1 of 2 with two seconds left. Londell King then fouled DeAndre Dishman with a second to go, he made 1 of 2 and Morehead State couldn't get off a shot attempt.

Down 52-44, Eastern Kentucky used an 11-0 run with consecutive 3-pointers from Peyton Broughton, Dujuanta Weaver and Hobbs followed by Zach Charles' jumper with 7:29 left. Neither team led by more than three after that.

Charles and Hobbs each scored 15 and Dishman had 13.

Jordan Walker led Morehead State (6-19, 2-12) with 16 points, Hicks 15, De'Von Cooper 13 and Malek Green 10.
