DELAND, Fla. (AP) — Freshman Abayomi Iyiola had 12 points and 11 rebounds — his second double-double — and B.J. Glasford scored 18 points to help Stetson beat USC Upstate 87-69 on Saturday.

Glasford made 7 of 10 from the field, including four of Stetson's 14 3-pointers. Divine Myles and Angel Rivera had 11 points apiece and Luke Doyle scored 10 for the Hatters.

Stetson (10-9, 2-1 Atlantic Sun) had runs of 11-0 and 10-0 and hit nine 3-pointers in the first half, while the Spartans made just 11 of 30 from the field, to lead 43-30 at the break. Upstate missed seven of its first eight second-half shots as the Hatters pushed their lead to 20 points about 4½ minutes in and Stetson used a 13-2 spurt to make it 67-39 with 11 minutes to play.

Mike Cunningham had 16 points, including four 3s, Ramel Thompkins scored 12 and Avery Diggs added 10 points for USC Upstate (5-15, 0-3).
